Law Fuel comments that the legal jobs market worldwide is changing and New Zealand’s law jobs market is too.

Restructuring of law firms in Australia, which has seen major changes with international firms entering the market and in some cases shedding staff, has resulted in a growth in mid-tier law practices. In New Zealand where the boutique law firms have increasingly grown to prominence, the Australian situation has seen hundreds of jobs and partners disappearing from larger firms and becoming mid-tier market.
