Tim will continue leading LOD’s client development activities.
Simon Harper, LOD Co-Founder, commented: “We’ve always looked outside the traditional legal model for inspiration, and that continues with Tom’s appointment. With a great professional services background and experience of driving strategic growth, Tom’s appointment will help LOD to fulfil its potential as we accelerate our growth plans. We’re looking forward to offering our clients even more choice, flexibility and control over how they manage their legal work.”
Tom said: “The market for alternative legal services will continue to grow and change and, as the UK’s original provider, LOD is best placed to help shape that growth. LOD is a fantastically innovative business with all the foundations for continued success. I look forward to working with Simon and Jonathan to build a business that continues to attract the best lawyers and most forward thinking clients.”
Neville Eisenberg, BLP Managing Partner and LOD Chairman said: “LOD has been a remarkable success story since it began in 2007. LOD’s turnover has increased by more than 500% in the last four years and it now has a team of over 250 experienced lawyers who have completed hundreds of assignments for well-known global companies and law firms.
